Though for small mercies BJP and Communists are the only two exceptions where son of Jyoti Basu or Budhdeb Bhattacharya or Somnath Chatterjee doesn't automatically become the secretary also Vajpayee's son or Advani's daughter or Arun Jaitley's daughter doesn't become the president of the partyon debut. Yes a politician's son entering politics is OK but definitely not wearing the crown on his debut without proving his mettle.
