Hence we see, that the powers of all their might, their advances & failed attempts to crush mass political actions (various mass movements) largely led by & carried on by its own willing & not forced against its will i.e.; Narmada Bachao Andolan, the Women of Shaheen Bagh, Students of Several Universities, in the Face of the Citizenship (Amendment) Act, the Farmers, against the farm laws, most directly en-gaged with the people wanting democracy to work, widely accepted by rational voices, perhaps, back then, and today, are evidences of democracy’s precious gift – Democracy prevails & pattern of destructive voices with irrational beliefs etc. cannot override aspirations of the willing.
In addition to yours, this organic process also exposes the hollowness (apparent) at the core not only of political parties but also of the community/groups who promote this hollowness. Thus, unsettled inevitable evils makes democracy democratic.....
As stated in the ninth paragraph, transformation of political values to today’s norms, ‘tolerate a member of Parliament hailing Mohandas Gandhi’s assassin as a true patriot’ giving voice to extremists reducing the responsiveness of governments to citizenry, endemic to democracy, but permit voters an object to hold to account.
How much soever, therefore, the governments or other stake-holders may turn their back upon it, yet, the conscience of all people involved in such agitations/protests etc., highlights certain truth manifestly stops the mouths of all irrationality, puts an end to many questions, and temporary or forever settles the victory over all evasive subtleties’.
It seems to impose a necessity on the lack of political will to cooperate for the good and greater good of the country.
In the current circumstances, it is an opinion inducing democracy to be more responsive & governments to be equally responsive to the preferences of democracy & democratic minded people!
