Making investigative agencies accountable to a committee of the Legislature and a human rights watchdog, besides to the Executive, would be better than housing these in an autonomous body
This is the most realistically prudent, executable advise offered to the CJI NV Ramana for messing up with the system and process of functioning of investigative agencies necessary to ensure speedy and proper investigation with time-bound solution of PIL's and other petitions/cases filed in the Supreme Court of India.
Impeccable explanation of the same makes it evident that correction in decision ought to be made.
I hope the Chief Justice of India NV Ramana respect and understand your credible opinion explaining the consequences of wrong decision-making from all points of view.
Stay mightiest writing bold and fearless opinions seeking justice for all of us in world's largest democracy. Thank you.
Administration doesn't function this way with committees If they are independent they are independent that's all .If any grievance exists in its function in a particular case the aggrieved party is fully authorised to approach the courts. India is a strange country where Federal agencies have to take approval of the state to investigate a case. In the world's mist prominent democracy The US this doesnt happen.Today it is CBI tomorrow it will be the Army and then the Supreme court .Where are we heading ? Balkanisation? Sardar Patel unified the Rajwadas and the present day 'Dynasts' pvt Ltd companies want to treat their states as their own 'Duchies' Omens are not good atall .Federal structure yes but there is a limit to it Constitution never intended it. Don't dilute it. The custodian of the constitution the Sup crt should not dilute it but strengthen it. Many states don't take the courts ordees seriously today weaken the centre tomorrow its their own turn which please note.
