The Gandhis have successfully fobbed off the demand to create a parliamentary board that would replace Rahul Gandhi's arbitrariness with collective leadership
The opinion deserves a rapturous standing ovation like the singer Shakira received in her live show many years ago, in 2009.
I am inspired to write after reading the opinion, "You are amazing, you are unique, you are extraordinarily talented and blessed, you are very strong, you are bold, you are fearless, you are resilient, you perform most glorious tasks, you are democratic, you are worthy and incredible, you are powerful, you embody democratic ideals, you are unbiased, you are influential, you are an economist, you are a tall leader-Editor, and there is no second Opinion Editor and Columnist like you in India. You are the only version of you to ever exist in the Universe!!"
Of course, big words seldom accompany good deeds like your opinions, your journalistic and scholarly work with journalistic acumen are big words that defined you even before you entered the professional world of journalism.
I must assert the fact and reality that my known persons (friends) praise your dynamism, intellectual and economic value in old, existing and new paradigms which relates to journalistic acumen and scholarly paradigm and leadership they had experienced when you were doing your Phd in JNU and the same stays relevant until today.
Their understanding of you, your writings and leadership has not changed till date. I honour the words of my older friends and applaud their wisdom when they repeatedly say, "TK is TK", having the liberty to say unlike me, an ordinary reader of your writings.
So, it is not only me but other scholars from JNU from your glorious student days who talk about your leadership role, responsibilities and outcomes as the President of JNU Students' Union and ordinary readers like me who understand your calibre. For eg; I take no time to understand your opinions unlike professionals known to me who lack understanding on terms having certain nuances of meaning not only in this opinion but all throughout. Not once but it happens many times. Also, one must have the wisdom, knack and ingenuity of understanding your opinions.
Hence, I take this opportunity to once again congratulate you for writing another masterpiece aimed at making citizens of India's voices powerful and of course, for the Congress party's leadership to correct themselves.
I earnestly hope your most prudent advice is implemented in the 'CWC' board meeting which is due.
I wish to write this point as well - 'Congress Chintan Shivir' was organised to discuss, deliberate and close intellectual solutions related to workflows and more. I mean the way forward for Congress leaders and karyakartas to work unitedly and cohesively, and I am hopeful of this decision to be considered in the CWC meeting. Ms. Sonia Gandhi must address this challenge and implement a solution at the earliest. In a democratic, consultative manner for sure.
Knowing that Mr Rahul Gandhi need not feel insecure else there will be no difference between him and other insecure senior political leaders like our PM and leaders who are in politics only for lust, greed and money.
Stay spirited, the brightest jewel in the world of Journalism!! Through your extraordinarily great writings representing we citizens of India and democracy.
